What to move, and what to arrange separately
Anything valuable, fragile or private is worth putting away before the visit, and the items below sit outside a standard cleaning. Tell us at the walkthrough if you want any of them covered and we will scope them properly rather than improvising on the day.
Outside a standard Residential Cleaning visit
- Anything behind or under heavy furniture we cannot safely move
- Exterior windows above ground-floor level
- Biohazard, mould remediation and pest issues
- Laundry, dishes and tidying of personal belongings unless agreed in advance
Outside a standard Commercial Cleaning visit
- Specialist clinical waste handling
- Exterior facade and high-level window work
- Deep kitchen extract cleaning to TR19, quoted separately
- Anything requiring licensed hazardous-material handling
Access, arrival windows and the things worth telling us
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Plenty of customers leave access arrangements with us and are out at work, and plenty prefer to be there, especially for a first visit. Either way we confirm the arrival window beforehand so you are not waiting in.
Can you work around pets and children?
Yes. Tell us what to expect, whether anything should stay shut, and if there is a routine that keeps a pet settled. If anyone in the house has an allergy or a sensitivity, say so before the first visit and we will plan the visit around it.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes. Products, cloths, vacuums and equipment all come with the team. If you would rather we used a specific product on a particular surface, or there is something you want avoided, tell us before the first visit and we will plan around it.
