A deep clean is a single detailed visit that covers everything a standard clean does plus the accumulated build-up a routine visit does not reach: inside appliances, behind and under what we can safely move, grout lines, skirting, door frames, light fittings and vents. It takes considerably longer than a maintenance visit and is priced accordingly.
Most people book a deep clean for one of three reasons: the property has got away from them, something is happening and it needs to look right, or they are starting a recurring plan and want a clean baseline to maintain. That last one is the most economical way to use it. Once a property has been properly reset, keeping it there costs far less than repeatedly half-catching-up, which is why we usually recommend a deep clean as the first visit and a lighter fortnightly or monthly visit after it.

What is included in a deep clean?
Everything in a standard clean plus inside the oven and refrigerator, grout lines and shower screens descaled, skirting boards, door frames, light fittings, switch plates, reachable vents, interior windows and their tracks, and behind or under furniture we can safely move.
How is a deep clean different from a standard clean?
A standard clean maintains a property that is already in reasonable order. A deep clean resets one that is not, and reaches the build-up that routine visits never touch. It typically takes two to three times as long, which is why it costs more.
How long does a deep clean take?
Considerably longer than a maintenance visit, and the honest answer depends on the property. A small apartment might be a half day, while a larger family home in poor condition can take a full day with more than one cleaner. We give you a realistic time at the walkthrough rather than an optimistic one.
Should I get a deep clean before starting a recurring plan?
Usually yes, and it normally works out cheaper. Resetting the property once and then maintaining it costs less over a few months than repeatedly trying to catch up within the time of a standard visit.
