House Cleaning Room by Room Across Metro Atlanta

House cleaning is the standard whole-home visit: every room in the property gets attention in one pass, with the kitchen and the bathrooms taking the largest share of it. The scope runs from bedrooms and living space through to hallways and stairs. What you pay follows the footprint and the state of the rooms, not a clock.

The useful order of decisions is depth first, frequency second, and most enquiries arrive the other way round. People ask how often before they have settled what a visit should actually achieve, which is why a fortnightly slot sometimes disappoints: the property needed resetting before anything could be maintained. A whole-home visit is sized against real rooms rather than a floor plan, so a three-bedroom house with two occupants and a three-bedroom house with four children and a dog are not the same booking even though the particulars match. We look, we say which depth fits, and only then talk about how often we come back.

What is included

  • Kitchen worktops, sink, hob and appliance fronts
  • Bathrooms and cloakrooms, with basins, baths, showers, loos and mirrors
  • Bedrooms dusted, beds made and under-bed floor space reached where it is clear
  • Living and dining rooms, including tables, shelves and reachable picture rails
  • Hallways, landings and stair treads, which take more traffic than any other floor
  • Hard floors mopped and carpets vacuumed throughout
  • Waste taken out and liners replaced

What is not included

  • Rooms locked, in use or filled to a point where the floor cannot be reached
  • Washing up, laundry and putting away what has been left out
  • Oven and refrigerator interiors, which belong to a deeper scope
  • Anything above safe ladder height, including bulbs and ceiling fittings
  • Clutter that needs a decision from you rather than a cloth

Optional add-ons

Added to your quote only if you ask for them, and priced before the visit rather than after it.

Oven interior Refrigerator interior A single room taken to deep-clean depth Ground-floor window interiors Ironing left folded A sweep of the porch or entryway

How it works

  1. 1 You describe the property Room count, floor surfaces and anything that already worries you.
  2. 2 We put a figure to it Fixed for the rooms agreed, and it does not move because a day ran long.
  3. 3 We clean in a set order Top down and back to front, so finished floors are not walked over.
  4. 4 You look before we go Anything you point out gets done there and then, rather than booked in for next time.

What affects the price

Every quote is free and fixed after the walkthrough, or from the property details you provide. These are the things that move the figure.

  • How many rooms are actually in scope
  • The number of bathrooms and cloakrooms
  • What state the property is in when we first see it
  • Whether animals live in the house
  • Stairs, split levels and anything that slows a vacuum down
Our standard

What matters most to Metro Atlanta clients

Homeowners and business owners across Metro Atlanta tend to care about the same three things when they hire a cleaning company. Here is how we approach each of them.

Showing up when we say we will

A cleaning you have to chase is worse than no cleaning at all. We confirm the window before the visit, we arrive inside it, and if something changes on our end you hear it from us first rather than finding out when nobody knocks.

The parts other people skip

Baseboards, the tops of door frames, the corner behind the bin, the inside of the microwave. We work from a checklist built around your property on the first visit, and we adjust it whenever you tell us something matters more than we assumed.

People you are comfortable letting in

Everyone who arrives is in a Mater uniform and can tell you exactly what was booked. Wherever scheduling allows we keep the same pair on your property, so you are not introducing strangers to your home or your building every few weeks.

Not happy with something? Tell us within 24 hours and we will come back and put it right.

Common questions about house cleaning

Is house cleaning the same as a deep clean?

No. This is the maintenance level: it holds a home at the standard it is currently at and lifts it a little. Deep work reaches build-up that has had months to settle. If we think the heavier version is needed first, we will say so at the quote instead of letting a standard visit disappoint you.

How do you price it if not by the hour?

On the rooms in scope and the condition we find them in. Charging by the hour rewards a slow team and punishes a fast one, and it leaves you unable to budget. Send the room count and you will have a figure within one business day, and it holds unless the scope changes.

Which rooms are included?

All of the ones you want in the scope, which is a decision worth making explicitly. Some households keep a home office, a spare room or a basement out of it permanently and would rather the time went to the kitchen. We write down what is in and what is out so nobody is guessing on the day.

Do you bring everything with you?

Yes, equipment and products travel with the team. If a floor, worktop or older surface needs a particular treatment, or there is something you would rather was never used indoors, mention it at the quote and it goes on the property notes.
