Kitchen Cleaning for Metro Atlanta Homes

Kitchen cleaning is a single-room job booked on its own or bolted onto another visit. It deals with cooking film rather than dust: cabinet doors and handles, splashbacks and tiled returns, the outside and inside of appliances, extractor filters where they lift out, the sink and waste, and the floor edges that disappear under the units.

Grease behaves nothing like dust, and that is the whole reason a kitchen is quoted separately. Dust sits on a surface and lifts off with a cloth. Cooking film is aerosolised fat that lands warm, cools, and then attracts everything airborne into itself, layer over layer, until the top of a wall cabinet carries a coating you can score with a fingernail. It does not respond to a general-purpose spray and a quick pass. It needs a degreasing product, dwell time and a second wipe to take the residue away, which is time nobody has during a whole-house visit. Booking the room on its own buys that time honestly rather than pretending it fits somewhere else.

  • Splashbacks, tiled returns and the wall behind the hob

  • Cleaning inside a live extract duct, which is not a domestic job
  • Descaling or servicing a coffee machine, boiler or water softener

How it works

  1. 1 We ask what you cook A kitchen used for roasting nightly is a different job from one used for toast.
  2. 2 We price the room, not the house One figure for the kitchen, whether it stands alone or joins another visit.
  3. 3 We degrease before we wipe Product goes on, it is left to work, and only then does the cloth come out.
  4. 4 We finish at floor level Plinths and unit edges last, after everything above them has been dealt with.

What affects the price

Every quote is free and fixed after the walkthrough, or from the property details you provide. These are the things that move the figure.

  • How much cooking the kitchen actually sees
  • Whether the oven is in scope and what state it is in
  • The run of cabinetry, measured in metres rather than floor area
  • Whether the extractor filters lift out
  • How much is left standing on the worktops
Our standard

What matters most to Metro Atlanta clients

Homeowners and business owners across Metro Atlanta tend to care about the same three things when they hire a cleaning company. Here is how we approach each of them.

Showing up when we say we will

A cleaning you have to chase is worse than no cleaning at all. We confirm the window before the visit, we arrive inside it, and if something changes on our end you hear it from us first rather than finding out when nobody knocks.

The parts other people skip

Baseboards, the tops of door frames, the corner behind the bin, the inside of the microwave. We work from a checklist built around your property on the first visit, and we adjust it whenever you tell us something matters more than we assumed.

People you are comfortable letting in

Everyone who arrives is in a Mater uniform and can tell you exactly what was booked. Wherever scheduling allows we keep the same pair on your property, so you are not introducing strangers to your home or your building every few weeks.

Not happy with something? Tell us within 24 hours and we will come back and put it right.

Common questions about kitchen cleaning

Can I book just the kitchen?

Yes. It stands alone perfectly well, and plenty of households book nothing else. It also works as an addition to a routine visit when the room has drifted further than the usual pass can recover. Either way it is quoted as its own scope.

Do you clean the extractor filters?

The metal mesh filters that slide or clip out, yes, provided they come away by hand. Charcoal filters are consumables and get replaced rather than washed, so we will tell you when yours has had it. Ducting and anything behind a fixed panel sits outside a domestic scope.

How long does an oven take?

Longer than people expect, because the product has to sit on the carbon rather than be scrubbed off immediately. A lightly used oven is quick. One that has had a roast in it every Sunday for two years needs the racks soaking and more than one application. We will look before committing to a time.

Will the marks on my worktop come off?

Some will and some are etching rather than dirt. Stone, composite and untreated timber all scar in ways that no cleaner reverses, and acid or scale damage is permanent. We take off what is on the surface and tell you plainly when what remains is in the surface.
