Disinfection services are a structured, recorded pass over the surfaces people actually touch: door handles and push plates, light switches, rails, lift buttons, shared desks and phones, kitchen and washroom fittings, and reception counters. It is booked either as an added round alongside a cleaning schedule or as a response after illness has gone through a workplace.
This is a service that is easy to oversell, so here is what it honestly is. It is a disciplined second pass with a disinfectant product, applied to a defined list of surfaces, left for the contact time its label states rather than wiped straight off, and logged so you know what was covered and when. It is not a certification, it is not a laboratory process, and nobody doing it should be quoting you a percentage. Cleaning has to come first, because disinfectant applied over soil does very little, so the two are a sequence rather than alternatives. Used that way, on the surfaces that genuinely matter, it is a sensible addition to a workplace with shared equipment, public visitors or a bad run of absence.

Common questions about disinfection services
Does this make my premises certified or compliant?
No, and we will not say otherwise. This is a cleaning service applied carefully to a defined list of surfaces and then recorded. There is no accreditation or inspection behind it. Anyone offering you a compliance guarantee for a wipe-down is selling something they cannot stand behind.
Do I need disinfection as well as ordinary cleaning?
Rarely as a standing item for a quiet office. It earns its place where equipment is shared between many people, where the public comes and goes, or where you have had a run of illness through a team. The rest of the time a good cleaning schedule with proper attention to washrooms and kitchens is doing most of the work.
Which products do you use?
Standard commercial disinfectants, used according to their own label instructions including dilution and contact time. If your organisation specifies particular products, or restricts what may be used on certain surfaces or equipment, tell us at the walkthrough and we will work to that list.
Can you come in after an outbreak?
Yes. Tell us what happened and which areas were involved and we will scope a response, usually a concentrated pass over touch points and shared spaces repeated across several days. We reply within one business day and we will be straight with you about what a clean can and cannot achieve.
