Restaurant and Food-Service Cleaning
Restaurant cleaning covers the dining room, bar, washrooms, service corridors and the back-of-house floors and hard surfaces, worked into the hours between close and open. It does not cover deep extract cleaning of the canopy ductwork, which is a certificated specialism and is arranged separately with a contractor who can issue the report that goes in your records.
Two things make a restaurant unlike any other commercial space we clean. The first is grease, which travels a great deal further than anyone expects. It settles on walls, light fittings and the tops of things well outside the kitchen line, and a surface that looks merely dusty often is not. The second is the window. Between the last cover and the first delivery there may be five hours, occasionally fewer, and everything has to be finished and dry inside it. So a restaurant is scoped around the gap you actually have, and we say plainly when a task needs a closed day rather than a night.

How it works
- 1 We come in after service The walkthrough happens at the hour we would be working, not in the afternoon.
- 2 We map the window What is realistically finishable between close and open, said plainly at the start.
- 3 We split the specialisms Extract cleaning goes to a certificated contractor, and we put that in writing.
- 4 We schedule the periodics Heavy degrease work is planned into closed days rather than squeezed into a night.
What affects the price
Every quote is free and fixed after the walkthrough, or from the property details you provide. These are the things that move the figure.
- Covers served and how many service periods a day
- Size of the dining room and the number of washrooms
- How much back-of-house floor area is in scope
- The length of the window between close and open
- Visit frequency, including whether you need us seven nights
- Floor surfaces and how much degreasing they take
What matters most to Metro Atlanta clients
Homeowners and business owners across Metro Atlanta tend to care about the same three things when they hire a cleaning company. Here is how we approach each of them.
Showing up when we say we will
A cleaning you have to chase is worse than no cleaning at all. We confirm the window before the visit, we arrive inside it, and if something changes on our end you hear it from us first rather than finding out when nobody knocks.
The parts other people skip
Baseboards, the tops of door frames, the corner behind the bin, the inside of the microwave. We work from a checklist built around your property on the first visit, and we adjust it whenever you tell us something matters more than we assumed.
People you are comfortable letting in
Everyone who arrives is in a Mater uniform and can tell you exactly what was booked. Wherever scheduling allows we keep the same pair on your property, so you are not introducing strangers to your home or your building every few weeks.
Not happy with something? Tell us within 24 hours and we will come back and put it right.
Common questions about restaurant cleaning
Do you clean kitchen extract and canopies?
Not the ductwork. Deep extract cleaning to TR19 needs a certificated contractor who issues a report for your records, and we will not pretend otherwise. We clean canopy exteriors, stainless surfaces and the reachable grease that builds up around the line, and we will point you at the specialist for the rest.
When would you clean my restaurant?
Overnight in almost every case, after the last cover and before the first delivery. We walk the site at that hour rather than at midday, because a dining room at two in the morning with the chairs up is the job we are actually quoting.
Can you work seven nights a week?
Yes, where the scope justifies it. Busier kitchens usually want nightly floors and washrooms with the heavier degrease work on a periodic cycle. If fewer visits would achieve the same result we will tell you that at the walkthrough.
Are you responsible for our health inspection score?
No, and no cleaning company should tell you it is. An inspection covers food handling, temperature control, storage and structure as well as cleanliness, and most of that sits with your kitchen team. What we can do is keep the surfaces, floors and washrooms in the state an inspector expects to find them.
